What is Biblical Interpretation?: Part 1

  1. Thanks for the post. I totally agree there’s a burning need for believers to read black and brown. I often write book round-ups with 20+ books. I noticed besides African publishers, no one is interested in sharing my round ups on African theologians.

There’s a general belief that black and brown theologians are only qualified to comment on race or write rags to riches biographies. It’s amazing that I have been reading a lot for the past 15 years, and only last year I discovered I had the wrong understanding of what the Bible say about sin. This happened after reading Yusuf Turaki’s Trinity of Sin.

I look forward to your next post. Funny thing, I am writing a book on Bible interpretation (A Little Exercise for African Christians). 80% complete.
