Jemar Tisby: A big reason why I study history is that I believe telling the truth about our past is the first step to confession, and the confession leads to repentance and repentance leads to repair.
Jemar Tisby: We’re dealing with something that facts can’t fix. We’re dealing with ideologies, beliefs and idols that people are clinging to.
Jemar Tisby: We have to deal with people letting go of power, letting go of historic sign of power and allowing America to be the diverse, pluralistic place it has been.
