    Scriptures should never be filtered through contemporary culture but contemporary culture must be filtered through the Scriptures… You have failed to do that here… In addition, while visiting the Book of Genesis you failed to stop by chapter 9 where God established human government… Blessings!!!

    I appreciate your words, but I do think that a Christian view of the recent immigration/refugee situation entails far more than you mention.

    For instance, should I not at least strongly consider options that would keep my own grandchildren safe?

    Don’t read too much into that question, but it is an example of the complexity of the situation.
