“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” (1 John 3:)

  2. Mezzula5 says:

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:..” (1 John 4:18)

  3. DocGOM says:

Scriptures should never be filtered through contemporary culture but contemporary culture must be filtered through the Scriptures… You have failed to do that here… In addition, while visiting the Book of Genesis you failed to stop by chapter 9 where God established human government… Blessings!!!

  4. Mezzula5 says:

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

I appreciate your words, but I do think that a Christian view of the recent immigration/refugee situation entails far more than you mention.

For instance, should I not at least strongly consider options that would keep my own grandchildren safe?

Don’t read too much into that question, but it is an example of the complexity of the situation.
