Late, late comment, but I’m listening to all the archives, oldest to newest. (I have lots to learn!)

The comment by Dr. Jun about the inciting moment just made my jaw drop–that’s me! And it was all about how the inciting moment happens, which is also my own curiosity, as I know what made me experience that moment. Yet I do not know how to incite it in others.

Here’s what’s interesting to me (always about me!) — my religious faith (Evangelical) was always there, the verses and the lessons were always there, but it just didn’t click until that inciting event. As a neutral observance about my own self, I’ve radically changed in how I act and speak and whom I spend community with. Not here for the gold star. Just to say that I’ve made significantly different choices in life since then. It really mattered what happened.

I don’t know how to help anyone else have that same event. It wasn’t planned out for me, and while that’s great, I really want to dive into how to prepare the ground for others. I’d love to see more research and discussion about this in the wider world.

    Thanks for hosting Dr. Jun!

Wow – y’all just been meddling all week!

Thanks for not condemning the dominate group even thought we don’t always “Get it.” Thanks for educating me.

That was a great conversation. Many thanks for bringing Dr. Jun to the podcast.
