Many of us struggle to process the events of Ferguson. Since the grand jury decided not to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of teenager Mike Brown, a complex of emotions swirls around our country. Some experience rage, others vindication, and others still don’t know what to feel.

The RAAnetwork held a special live podcast of Pass the Mic to help us think through the implications of Ferguson from a Christian viewpoint.  We assembled an array of commentators with a variety of perspectives. Here’s the list of participants:

Michelle Higgins–Director of Worship and Outreach, South City Church

John Richards–Managing Editor, Urban Faith and RAANetwork

Tyler Burns–Youth Pastor

Dr. Carl Ellis, Jr.–Visiting Professor, RTS Jackson and Adjunct Professor of Theology, Redeemer Seminary

Jemar Tisby–Co-founder and President of the Reformed African American Network | RAAN
