“The Witness is thrilled to have Tyler assume the role of vice president and we are excited for this new season of our organization as we continue to grow our leadership,” said Tisby. “Tyler’s experience in pastoral ministry, work with Pass the Mic, and passion for The Witness made him an obvious choice for vice president. We look forward to seeing how the organization will grow in breadth and depth under his leadership.”

Burns is a pastor at New Dimensions Christian Center in Pensacola, Fla., where he lives with his wife and daughter. Along with Pass the Mic, Burns co-hosts Once Upon a Time in Wakanda and Chasing Justice.
